A lot has been made of Tom Brady’s actions on the sidelines Sunday when cameras caught him yelling at his offensive lineman.
Brady was none too pleased about how they were playing and proceeded to chew them out for it.
On Wednesday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Robert Hainsey addressed being yelled at by the legendary quarterback. Despite the backlash, Ryan Hainsey loved it.
“Everyone can call it what they want, but I want nothing else from a quarterback than that — than the guy who’s wanting to tell us what we need to do and step up,” Hainsey said, via Jenna Laine of ESPN. “If he was just sitting over there and not getting us going and not trying to help us, he wouldn’t be who he is today.”
“I love that from him. I know we all love that from him. It might look weird on TV, but that’s football. That’s what you want from great teammates and great leaders, and he’s the best there is.”
The Bucs were down 10-6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers at the time of that tongue-lashing. The team would go on to lose, 20-18 in one of the most shocking losses of the year.

As far as rumors surrounding him possibly retiring midseason, the 45-year-old shut that notion down.
“I love the sport and I love the teammates, and I wanna go do a great job for this team like I always have. So, no retirement in my future.”
Tom Brady’s 1,652 passing yards still rank fifth in the NFL, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are scoring just 20.2 points per game, which ranks 20th.
The yelling is not making this offense any better, and if the team doesn’t figure it out soon, they could find themselves on the outside looking in come playoff time.
