The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are dealing with some troubling news regarding one of their players.
According to a report, Buccaneers wide receiver Travis Jonsen, who’s competing for a spot on Tampa Bay’s 53-man roster, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.
Jonsen spent the 2020 season and parts of the 2021 campaign on the Buccaneers’ practice squad. However, he has never made the 53-man roster.
The 25-year-old wideout just made his situation even worse to make the squad with this arrest.
Per Greg Auman, Jenson refused a blood-alcohol test and remains in jail on a $500 bond. His DUI charge is also a misdemeanor.

It’s possible that Jonsen could face a suspension if the NFL deems him to have violated the substance abuse policy.
