It has now been two full days since Antonio Brown shocked the sports world by stripping off his uniform at MetLife stadium. He then proceeded to rip off his shirt, toss it and his gloves into the stands, pump up the crowd as he made his way to the locker room.
Since then, he is still a member of the Tampa bay Bucs as the team has yet to cut him from the team. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the wide receiver has not appeared on the NFL wire for a second consecutive day.
Many have speculated on social media that the team is keeping him on to prevent a playoff team from trying to scoop him up.
Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians said that the receiver would no longer be a part of the team.
“He is no longer a Buc, alright?” Arians said. “That’s the end of the story. Let’s talk about the guys that went out there and won the game.”
As of right now, that hasn’t been proven to be true.
