The Dallas Cowboys will harbor added worries ahead of their all-important clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.
The sides are set to go head-to-head for the final game of the Wild Card round and, in an effort to strengthen their chances of winning, the Bucs have activated Ryan Jensen off the injured reserve list.
Jensen, who is known as “The Enforcer,” was expected to be the main force in the Bucs’ offensive line this season. However, he sustained a serious knee injury at the start of training camp. His injury gave second-year offensive lineman Robert Hainsey the opportunity to start at center, though the converted right tackle was looking to fight for the starting spot at left guard.
The Pro Bowl center didn’t play a single minute in 2022, yet he’s understood to be ready to dress for tonight’s showdown and even stands a chance of playing after returning to team practice on December 28, per ESPN.
Jensen’s return would provide Tampa Bay and Tom Brady a huge boost. The offensive line was one of the major contributing factors when they won the Super Bowl in 2021, and getting a player of his caliber for tonight’s game will assuredly leave the Cowboys more concerned.
