Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was having a great night in Baltimore in the regular season finale against the Ravens and one play ended everything for him.
Steelers star edge rusher T.J. Watt left Pittsburgh’s Week 18 game against the Baltimore Ravens with a left leg injury and the diagnosis is not looking good.
Watt landed awkwardly after jumping and colliding with teammate Montravius Adams. He laid out on the ground as medical personnel attended to him before they helped him up and eventually walked him to the locker room.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Watt is believed to have suffered a torn MCL injury.
If the Steelers make the playoffs, he is unlikely to be able to play.
“TJ Watt is believed to have suffered a torn MCL, pending further tests. Bad news if Pittsburgh makes the playoffs,” he reported.
