Swift and Kelce began dating in September of 2023 following months of rumors. They started dating after Kelce attended one of Swift’s highly anticipated Era’s Tour shows and somehow gave her a friendship bracelet with his number.
Taylor Swift is dating one of the Kelce brothers, so she has gotten to know the star’s mother, Donna. They’ve seemingly hit it off as well, as Donna seems extremely happy to welcome Swift to the family.
However, some fans are now praising ‘Mama Kelce’, as many call her, after revealing that she may be bluffing on the couple’s plans. This comes after it was revealed that she lied on the TODAY show about Swift being involved in Kelce’s holiday plans.

Travis Kelce Has His Mom To Thank For Hiding Holiday Plans
Before being asked if Swift would join them during their Thanksgiving celebrations, Kelce told TODAY, “I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. Football’s family.”
She then responded to the Swift part by denying that she would join them as she was busy with the Era’s Tour. However, it was later reported by PEOPLE that Swift did join them. Not only was she with them, but she hosted.

“Donna said Taylor wouldn’t be at the Kelce Thanksgiving because the Kelces went to the Swift’s,” said one fan.
“I don’t think this is true. I think Kelce’s went to Kansas City. He had a game the next day. They’re not allowed to leave night before a game,” theorized another.
“Pro mind, She handled that fantastically,” added one fan.
