In the first half, the Philadelphia Eagles got aggressive on fourth down, and the offense delivered a 31-yard connection from quarterback Jalen Hurts to wide receiver A.J. Brown.
Unfortunately, it appears that the refs totally screwed the Commanders.
Upon looking at the replay, it was obvious that standout running back Saquon Barkley got away with a clear hold that should’ve brought that play back and likely led to the Eagles punting the ball.
Instead, Jalen Hurts would end up running in for a touchdown.

A CLEAR HOLD BY SAQUON MISSED BY THE REFS
AWFUL OFFICIATING SMH 🤦♂️pic.twitter.com/7Jvqcmasc5
That was just one play, as refs also missed when Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith had his foot out of bounds following a long completion from Jalen Hurts.
🚨AWFUL MISSED CALL🚨#Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith's foot was OUT OF BOUNDS, but the refs still somehow ruled it a catch.

Yet another play the Philadelphia Eagles benefited from was refs only calling a penalty on Marshon Latimore after his scuffle with AJ Brown.

According to the league rulebook, a player who rips off another player's helmet must be penalized.

One final play showed a questionable pass interference on Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

The Philadelphia Eagles Have Dominating Lead At Half
The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles face off for the third time this year with a trip to Super Bowl LIX on the line.
The Eagles are leading the Commanders, 27-15, at halftime.
Should Philadelphia keep this lead, they will be on their way back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2023 as they hoped to bring their second title back home to Philly.
