Will Alvin Kamara be getting the Ray Rice treatment even though his assault is on a male victim??
Video surveillance shows the New Orleans Saints running back punching a man approximately eight times before Kamara’s crew proceeded to stomp on him several more times on the ground in a Las Vegas casino on Saturday, according to the police report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Darnell Greene was attacked by a group of people near a bank of elevators outside the Cromwell Casino at Drais After Dark Club.
After playing in the Pro Bowl, Kamara was later taken into custody inside Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Sunday evening. He was interviewed by police and then arrested for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm and booked at the Clark County Detention Center. Kamara was released after posting bail later Sunday night.
Greene stated he pushed Kamara’s hand off his chest as he contends he was “pushed hard,” and that he stumbled back. He then contends that he was “hit nd kicked by multiple people,” and that he lost consciousness.
Greene sustained an orbital fracture to his right eye among other injuries.
