The Dallas Cowboys made the decision to move on from Mike McCarthy and now they are in need of a new voice.
There was a stunning shift in the odds for the next head coach of the team.
Brian Schottenheimer’s name hasn’t been mentioned often in this head coaching cycle, but he has certainly grabbed headlines as he suddenly became the favorite in the market for the next Cowboys head coach at DraftKings.
DraftKings has Schottenheimer at -250 odds to be the next Dallas Cowboys head coach.

Kellen Moore, who was the favorite, went back to +250 odds.
Schottenheimer has been on the Cowboys’ staff for the past three seasons. He just wrapped up his second season as the offensive coordinator after a year as a coaching analyst.

He’s been coaching since 1997 and is the son of the late Marty Schottenheimer.
It has been one week since the Dallas Cowboys and Mike McCarthy parted ways. He has since interviewed with the Chicago Bears and is reported to be a top candidate for the New Orleans Saints as well.
While Moore and Saleh are the only interviews to have officially taken place, Dallas has been connected to a handful of other names that include Deion Sanders, Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, Kliff Kingsburgy, and Jason Witten.
