Taylor Swift will most certainly be at Super Bowl 59 next Sunday to support boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, but could she give fans another special surprise and perform with Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl halftime show?
What we do know is that Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl 59 halftime show, and that SZA will join him as a special guest.
Swift will likely watch the Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles game at a luxury suite at the Caesars Superdome, but should “Swifties” hold out hope about her coming down to the field to perform at halftime? There’s nothing wrong with crossing your fingers, but it’s probably best to keep the level of hope minimal.
Shanna McCarriston of CBS Sports believes that the chances of Taylor Swift actually showing up as a surprise special guest for the halftime show are slim:
“Swift has collaborated with rapper Kendrick Lamar in the past and while one of his special guests for his halftime show is already announced, there could be more. The chances of Swift joining Lamar on stage are low, but the 14-time Grammy winner has surprised her fans before.
I don’t expect Swift to be anywhere but next to her family, friends as well as Kelce’s family and friends when the break between the game’s action takes place. Swift has never graced the halftime show stage and I think we will have to wait a bit longer for a chance for that to change.”

Obviously, the tens of millions of Swifties would love to see Taylor Swift show up on stage with Kendrick Lamar. But it does feel unlikely, especially considering she’ll probably want to spend Super Bowl 59 in peace with her loved ones.

If Swift does come to the stage at halftime though? Let’s just say that the Caesars Superdome could set a new record for the loudest indoor crowd ever on Feb. 9.
Taylor Swift & Chiefs Hope For Another Super Bowl Celebration
Swift was present for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 58 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last year. But if the Chiefs can defeat the Eagles, they’ll complete the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat.
If Kansas City completes the mission, Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs will have a once-in-a-lifetime celebration like no other.
