Another AFC team has emerged as a favorite to field Aaron Rodgers next season if he chooses to continue playing.
The quarterback is coming off another disappointing term with the New York Jets and has hinted that he could call it quits, though he has admitted that he isn’t sure what the future holds and will take some time to decide what he wants to do.
Should Rodgers opt to play another season, it likely won’t be in New York. The organization is understood to be keen on parting ways, having come close to benching him during the season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been listed as the betting favorite to land the veteran quarterback if he doesn’t hang it up.
ProFootballTalk has also indicated that Pittsburgh could be the ideal destination for Rodgers due to both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields gearing up to enter free agency.

Aaron Rodgers Has Failed To Make An Impact In New York
Wilson and Fields played their parts in getting the Steelers to the playoffs, with Mike Tomlin putting another winning campaign together. But they were hardly able to get it going in their Wild Card appearance against the Baltimore Ravens, with their season now over.
Rodgers, meanwhile, wasn’t able to get the Jets into the postseason despite the massive changes, including the firing of Robert Saleh and a blockbuster trade for his former Green Bay Packers teammate, Davante Adams.
The Jets managed just five wins with Rodgers under center to close out a disastrous two-year period with the four-time MVP on their roster. And it now appears that both parties are ready to move on.
