The latest betting odds for the 2023 NFL MVP award winner have shifted drastically following a whacky and unpredictable Week 16.
As expected, Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens remains the favorite after leading his team to a statement 33-19 road win over the San Francisco 49ers. The FanDuel sportsbook has Jackson as the overwhelming -175 favorite with two weeks ago.
49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has the second-best odds at +470, followed by Miami Dolphins signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa at +900.
But also worthy of note: Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has jumped considerably in the betting odds, with FanDuel now giving him the fourth-highest odds with Brock Purdy at (+1300).
Allen has also moved up to fifth in the latest betting odds from MyBookie at +1375, as noted by X/Twitter account @uSTADIUM. The DraftKings sportsbook also gives Allen the fifth-best odds at +1400.

A week 12 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles dropped the Bills to 6-6 on the year, putting their postseason hopes in serious jeopardy. But the Bills have since rallied with three straight victories, including wins over the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.
It’s going to be hard for Allen to catch Jackson with only two weeks to go, but the fact he remains in MVP conversation at this point is impressive enough considering where the Bills were just a few weeks ago.
