An extremely lucky punter saw $500 turn into a cool $200,000 on Super Bowl night, with an unlikely touchdown scorer prompting a cash haul on what now appears to be an expert parlay.
The Kansas City Chiefs ended up 38-35 winners against the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s Super Bowl 57, with five different players scoring TDs. Skyy Moore was probably the most unlikely scorer as he hadn’t picked up a single career score over the course of his rookie season with the Cheifs.
The bettor, meanwhile, put $500 on Isiah Pacheco, Travis Kelce, Kadarius Toney and Moore scoring anytime on odds of +40000. Kelce was always going to find himself in the end zone, so that was a given. But things started heating up when Pacheco scored the first touchdown of the second half with a one-yard run. Toney got his three minutes into the fourth quarter, leaving the bettor a Skyy Moore TD away from a $200,500 payout.
Sure enough, it was Moore who scored to give the Chiefs a 34-27 lead, and a relieved punter a memorable Sunday.
