Super Bowl 56 is done and now the focus for all teams in the National Football League has them zeroing in on State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Los Angeles Rams are still popping the champagne, but we’re out here already looking at next year’s Super Bowl LVII logo, to be held in Arizona on February 12, 2023.
On Monday, we got our first look at the logo for Super Bowl LVII via a video that played during the NFL’s Super Bowl Host Committee handoff meeting.
Super Bowl LVII will be the third to be played in Glendale and the fourth all-time in the state of Arizona. The last Super Bowl to be held in the area was on February 1, 2015, with the New England Patriots beating the Seattle Seahawks. As you may remember, Glendale was the same place where the New York Giants’ upset of the unbeaten Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
The last two years have produced two teams playing and winning in their own stadium for the Super Bowl. The Bucs and Rams made history in back-to-back years. Could the Cardinals do the same next season?
They certainly showed signs of being a contender in 2021 as they were once 7-0, but would lose four of its next seven to close out the 2021 season. Things got even worse as they poured in a terrible performance in the playoffs and got throttled by the Rams.
