NFL fans seem fond of a particular submission following the Cleveland Browns starting a logo submission contest amid their consideration pertaining to novel signage.
The Browns could boast a new dog logo soon enough, having asked fans to submit artwork that could potentially become official. The contest, which has just over two weeks left to run, has seen several entrants present their bits in a bid to win the first prize (four club seats tickets, and a Cleveland Browns prize pack).
“We are fired up to see what ideas our fans come up with and the thought of their logo potentially being selected is a key element in our commitment to creating an amazing experience for our fanbase,” Executive Vice President JW Johnson said.
“We are always looking for feedback from our fans to improve their experience so allowing them to serve as a centerpiece of this contest offers an opportunity to engage with each other in real-time and showcase their love for the team and beyond.”
The promotion invites fans to submit designs to clevelandbrowns.com/doglogo and then share them via their own social media accounts. Votes for the winner could also be made by clicking the link above. The logo with the most votes will be entered into another round of voting, along with three local designs, set to open on May 10 and close in early June.
A Twitter user going by the name of Danny Devito has submitted the concept below thought to be a shoo-in based on the reactions.

The team previously launched a bracket similar to the ones you’d find during March Madness, inviting fans to vote competitively in order to help them choose the best breed of dog. The Mastiff was ultimately picked.
The current dog logo is one of the Browns’ alternate pieces, so the winner of this contest may very well replace it.
