Ask any fan base in the National Football League and they swear to everything that they have the best fans in the entire league.
Despite how you might feel about the fan base and the team, it is no secret that the Dallas Cowboys have one of the most rabid fan bases in the NFL, which is why they came in pretty high on this list.
Emory University Goizueta School of Business professor Mike Lewis recently completed his annual study on NFL fandom and it judges fans on 3 topics — Fan Equity (how much fans spend on their team), Social Equity (social media presence) and Road Equity (how teams do drawing their fans on the road).
His study found that the Dallas Cowboys have the #1 fan base.

The most surprising one has to be the Kansas City Chiefs being second from last and the Chargers being as high as they are when you consider the team basically plays 16 away games since moving to Los Angeles.
Both L.A. teams being in the low twenties shouldn’t be too shocking as fans in the L.A. area can be quite fickle towards their sports teams.
