Tennessee Titans star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has managed to stay healthy this season, and as a result, he is finally performing like a Pro Bowler again.
Despite lackluster quarterback play from veteran Ryan Tannehill and rookie Will Levis, Hopkins is set to surpass 1,000 yards receiving for the seventh time in his career.
But with the Titans in need of a rebuild, it only makes sense for GM Ran Carthon to shop Hopkins, who’ll be 32 years of age and in his contract year next season. If “Nuk” hits the trade block, there’s one AFC contender that should be ultra-aggressive in its approach to land him.
That would be Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills, who have been a giant disappointment thus far. As usual, the offense has been overly-reliant on the talents of Allen and All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs.
No. 2 receiver Gabe Davis is in his contract year and will likely walk in free agency for a greater payday, leaving Buffalo in clear need of a second WR to help Diggs.
Buffalo should offer the rebuilding Titans a 2024 fourth-round pick and a 2025 conditional fifth-rounder that can become a fourth if Hopkins ends up signing an extension. That’s a fair price to pay for a soon-to-be 32-year-old with only one year left on his deal.

Hopkins and Diggs would undoubtedly form a top-five receiving duo, and arguably the AFC’s best after the Tyreek Hill-Jaylen Waddle connection in Miami. Hopkins perfectly fits the Bills’ timeline as a team in win-now mode, and he should be keen on joining a championship contender with one of the league’s elite QBs throwing him the football.
