On Aug. 17, it was reported that the Department of Homeland Security had seized Streameast, a not-so-legal sports streaming website.
It was believed that illegal streaming and workarounds, such as buying streaming services or cable TV, had finally been stopped after years of service.
However, it now looks like whoever runs the website has already put up a new domain and is back up and running.
Many people online are grateful to hear this news, especially with the NFL regular season right around the corner and NFL+ costing $14.99 a month.
“Well if the government and the professionals wouldn’t charge some outrages prices and go back to watching the games on regular TV people wouldn’t have to use these streaming systems,” one commenter said about Streameast.

“We knew it was going to happen. Can’t hold a real one back,” another said.
“They have like 15 different ones. They’ll never get ahold of it,” a third added.
As of now, NFL games are scheduled to be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, YouTube TV, Netflix, ESPN+, and Paramount+. Many people rely heavily on Streameast to watch their favorite teams play every week.
Streameast Claims Streams “Never Go Offline”
This isn’t the first time Streameast has gotten in trouble for their product. However, the website’s creators seem to claim that it’s virtually unstoppable.
“Our streams will never go offline,” Streameast News Network said on X. “We have more decoy streams than you could imagine. We have self replicating private servers in storage. We have more domains than Apple and Google combined. Follow along on our journey to live sports heaven.“
If that is true, then you can expect Streameast to stick around for a very long time.
