Steve Smith is a national treasure.
On the Amazon Prime series “All or Nothing,” former Panthers great Steve Smith was looking for some prime time advice on who to start in Fantasy.
The show followed Carolina during its 2018 season and at one point during the campaign, Smith looked to quarterback Cam Newton on who to start at receiver on his fantasy football team.
While asking Cam about then-rookie D.J. Moore, the camera panned over to Moore who was standing right next to him during the entire conversation.
“He’s not a real wide receiver yet,” Smith said. “He’s just kind of developing.”
“I wouldn’t say that,” Newton responded.
“No, just for fantasy,” Smith said.
Moore had four games during the 2018 season where he produced less than 2 points in standard fantasy scoring and 13 with less than 10 points. Week 11 was his best as he poured in 21.3 points against the Lions.

That particular video seems to be right before the team faced the Eagles, in which Moore had just three catches for 29 yards. Smith is always a man of his word and likely got smacked.
