On Saturday, the Houston Texans offense could do absolutely nothing against the Indianapolis Colts, and by the time the Texans actually got to moving down the field, they were down 21-0.
With about 6 minutes to go in the first half, QB Deshaun Watson ran for a first down, ended up out of bounds and proceeded to celebrate with a first-down signal.
They was a major issue with Steve Smth Jr.
The former NFL wide receiver took to ‘Good Morning Football’ on NFL Network and unloaded on watson for his antics, because he threw out that signal multiple times while down big. He referred to Watson as ‘Checkdown Charlie’ because he was 29-49 from the field against the Colts, but only threw for 235 yards.
To put that into perspective, Andrew Luck went 19-32 and threw for just 13 less yards.
