The New England Patriots got a much needed win on Sunday when they faced the Arizona Cardinals.
All-pro WR DeAndre Hopkins was basically null & void as he caught five of seven targets for 55 yards in Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the Patriots.
When matched up with Stephon Gilmore, he had 3 catches for just 25 yards, and zero touchdowns.
Gilmore’s wife reacted to the shutdown:
Unfortunately for Hopkins and the Cardinals, a late Zane Gonzalez miss on a go-ahead field goal attempt opened the door for the Patriots to kick the winning field goal on the game’s final play.
