Stephen A. Smith, as he usually does, had something to say on his podcast that did not necessarily have anything to do with sports.
This week, he is responding to what an actress was wearing.
Vanessa Hudgens has had a very notable career after she first gained mainstream success in High School Musical. She’s done romance, action, and true crime while remaining a sex symbol for men everywhere.
Smith decided to speak about actress Vanessa Hudgens as a photo of her in a bikini showed up on social media. Two-time UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya quote-tweeted the photo and said “We’re all in this together,” which was a nod to Hudgens’ role in “High School Musical.”
Stephen A. Smith loved his tweet as the ESPN analyst said that he appreciated the UFC champ for being honest about his feelings.
“Israel Adesayna, props to him for the greatest tweet of the day,” Smith began. So Vanessa Hudgens, you know – actress – you know, does good work. I’m a fan of her work. Some people are just a fan of hers. And when you see this photo of her, those of you who are a fan of hers and not just her work, it makes perfect sense, as you can see in that photo. But forget the photo. It’s the tweet that accentuated it in a beautiful way. Israel Adesayna, the defending middleweight champion of the world in the UFC, simply retweeted it and said, quote “We all in this together.” That was a beautiful quote. I got to give it to you. That was a beautiful one. That really, really was.”

Unfortunately for men everywhere, Hudgens is currently engaged to Colorado Rockies shortstop Cole Tucker. She previously dated Austin Butler for a number of years.
It was revealed last month that Vanessa Hudgens landed her next movie role in the reboot of 2019’s Polar which will see her re-team with Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen.
For Stephen A. Smith, he has seemingly survived the ESPN layoffs as not many thought he would not be going anywhere anyway since he brings so many ratings to the network.
