Stephen A. Smith had enough of Jason Whitlock and finally addressed him today.
The longtime ESPN host dropped a video vowing to “get in” on Whitlock during his radio show, just days after Whitlock appeared to accuse Smith of lying in his memoir, “Straight Shooter”, which came out last year.
“I’ve had enough of that fat b—, that piece of s—,” Smith said. “And I want to make sure that before I go to break, I want anyone out there who watches me, anyone out there who knows me, anyone out there, no matter what you think of me. I want you to remember I never talk about him. I never talk about my colleagues. I don’t do that. This is a first. But it’s necessary.”
Smith said he spoke to his pastor in advance asking for forgiveness and reached out to ESPN officials to make it clear he was going to scorch the Earth with his take on his former colleague.
A few hours later, he would release that rant.

Whitlock caused all of this by not only calling into question the contents of Smith’s autobiography, but he even went as far as claiming Smith outright fabricated details about his life story.
He even wrote a column shortly after the Katt Williams interview that was entitled “Does Katt Williams’ interview expose Stephen A. Smith as a fraud?”
Smith’s first response was a lot more tame when he addressed the rumor on First Take. He chose not to state Whitlock’s name on First Take.
Whitlock is no stranger to controversy so you know he will have a lengthy response back to Smith.
