Stephen A. Smith cannot make up his mind on how he feels about Lamar Jackson.
Smith took aim at Lamar Jackson after his role in the Baltimore Ravens’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was head-scratching criticism since Jackson’s receivers dropped seven passes in the game, including a few that could’ve gone for touchdowns.
At the time, Smith asked if the Ravens were getting their money’s worth on Lamar Jackson. He said no.
After the Ravens beat down the Detroit Lions on Sunday, he completely changed his tune and basically called himself off over his new opinion.
First, he wasn’t worth it and now he is suddenly worth it, all within a few weeks time.
Lamar Jackson looked like a most valuable player again on Sunday, dismantling one of the best teams in the NFL with near-perfect passing.

Jackson went 21-of-27 passing for 357 yards and three touchdowns for a 155.8 passer rating as the Ravens won the game 38-6. His 357 yards passing is the second-most of his career. This was Jackson’s fourth career game with 300 yards passing, three touchdown passes, and no interceptions.
The Ravens had heard all week how this game was going to be their measuring stick and they destroyed that stick with ease.
