Stephen A. Smith does not like the Cowboys or their fan base and wishes nothing but bad luck on them when it comes to them playing in games. He does not, however, wish injury on them or celebrate when players get hurt.
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs tore his ACL during Thursday’s practice and will be out for the rest of this season. Diggs was seen on crutches following practice, and the injury seemed to have occurred during the one-on-one portion of practice.
There was no cause for celebration.
Former NFL star Bat Scott did not get the memo as he made an ill-timed joke at the franchise over the injury during First Take.
Smith, as well as Ryan Clark, look disgusted as they quickly state his comment was not necessary.
Diggs has only missed one game in each of the past two seasons. He has only allowed 26 yards on just two receptions through the first two games of the year.

It was a big loss for the Dallas Cowboys to hear CB Trevon Diggs is out for the season, but the team still has reasons to be optimistic.
The defense is still going to be damn good and his injury happened so early in the season that the team has time to figure out what will work without him out there.
The silver lining in all of this is that Diggs had signed a five-year contract extension during training camp worth $97 million. Most players do not get their full value after experiencing an injury like this.
As part of the deal, he received a $21.25 million signing bonus, and the extension guaranteed $42.3 million.
