Stephen A. Smith is dropping some crazy football news on Monday.
The Buffalo Bills are preparing for their third and final preseason game this Saturday, when they travel to play the Chicago Bears.
Stefon Diggs has been in the spotlight a ton this offseason following his behavior during their playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at home. The Athletic reported that Diggs sprinted out of the locker room with all of his things before some of Buffalo’s coaching staff even made it down to the tunnel that leads to the locker room. He was seen “exchanging some words” with Allen on the sideline during the loss, and later took to Twitter to explain that he just wasn’t OK with losing.
In June, Diggs’ mysterious absence from Buffalo’s mandatory minicamp sent the NFL world into a frenzy.
Now, Longtime ESPN TV personality Stephen A. Smith said this morning on First Take that Diggs doesn’t want to be in Buffalo.
“Diggs wants out by the way, I’m just telling you what I know, I got my own sources…he wants out, he doesn’t want to be in Buffalo,” said Smith.

Diggs is vital for the team’s success and the Bills won 13 games in 2022. They lost three games by a combined score of eight points and have won the AFC East three straight seasons.
Diggs has four years remaining on his current contract. The dead cap hit would be $45 million in 2023 and $31 million in 2024.
Diggs caught 108 passes for 1,429 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns in 16 games played last season. He accounted for 29% of the Bills’ receptions in 2022. There is no doubt in stating how much of a loss he would be to the team.
