Buffalo Bills’ star wide receiver Stefon Diggs had fans laughing by committing one of the funniest false start penalties you’ll ever see.
In the second quarter of the Bills’ home game against the New York Giants, Diggs got overly excited on a third-and-nine play. As Josh Allen was calling out the play, Diggs took off sprinting, even though the ball was never snapped.
Coaches will almost never make excuses for penalties, but it’s hard to knock on Diggs here. He was just simply overly excited and confident about the route he was about to run. It happens.
Plus, there’s plenty of time left in the game for Diggs to make up for the little hiccup.
