The brother of two NFL stars is being accused of helping plan a recent brutal elevator assault in Los Angeles on May 29.
TMZ is reporting that Darez Diggs, the brother of Buffalo Bills wide receiver and Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, allegedly set up an attack on another male that took place in the elevator of an L.A. apartment complex.
Footage obtained by said publication shows a man getting out of an elevator and getting back in when he realizes who’s outside of it. One of the men, identified as Darez Digg, lets two other men in who grab and start beating the victim. One of them is shown kicking him in the head before he yanks him out of the elevator.
A different camera caught the men engaged in a conversation after the attack, with the victim getting his chains ripped from his next and his bag gone through.
The suspects left the scene before police were able to get there but an investigation is taking place.
Darez, 27, is younger than Stefon but older than Trevon. He played college football at Morgan State and UAB but did not make it into the NFL. He now works in the fashion industry as the owner of a brand called Blue Boii, having played as a safety for the Los Angeles Wildcats when the XFL made an attempt at a comeback in 2020.
