Pittsburgh Steelers’ Zach Banner is a man who will be silent no more.
The offensive tackle was among the first NFL players to respond to DeSean Jackson and his anti-semantic comments last week and he is doing the same thing when it comes to the findings within the Washington (former) Redskins organization.
The Washington Redskins have launched an internal investigation after 15 former female employees and two journalists who covered the team accused team staffers of sexual harassment and verbal abuse. It was the damning article the world had been waiting for from the Washington Post.
Owner Dan Snyder and former team president Bruce Allen were not directly implicated in the sexual harassment allegations brought by the female employees but it was criticized for fostering a culture in which the behavior was permitted.
Zach Banner would take to social media and drop a 4-minute long video to state that men need to step up and protect women in the workplace.
“Black Lives Matter, and so does the comfort of women in the workplace.”
