Antonio Brown is far past the need for prayers, but one of his former teammates is offering them to him anyway.
An arrest warrant was issued for the former NFL wide receiver, who faces domestic violence accusations stemming from an incident that took place on Nov. 28 involving the mother of his children, according to FOX 13 in Tampa.
Brown threw a shoe at the alleged victim.
“The suspect exited the residence and threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail,” according to the Tampa police report. “The victim had no injuries but believed the shoe was meant for her head. The suspect would not open the door or come outside to speak with officers. The suspect also during this incident attempted to issue an informal eviction to the victim.”
On Thursday, it was also reported Brown locked himself inside the house as the police attempted to speak with him. Tampa Police spent at least an hour trying to get him to come out, but according to Sam Brock from NBC News, as of Thursday afternoon there was not an ongoing standoff and police were not even sure if he was at his home.
As things continue to be tense, Ryan Clark directed a message toward his former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate.

“Praying for AB.. nothing negative to say. Just prayer. Also, praying for anyone and everyone his actions have hurt,” Clark wrote on Twitter.
FOX13 also reported that Brown allegedly threatened to shoot the victim if she tried to enter the residence.
Brown’s latest legal issue comes just over a month after he was ordered to pay a moving truck driver $1.2 million following an alleged assault in February 2020.
His career in the National Football League is likely over when he last played in January for Tampa Bay, during which he famously walked off the field at MetLife Stadium with the Bucs trailing the New York Jets.
