Bill Belichick’s accomplishments speak for themselves. He is a proven winner as a six-time champion and second all-time in wins between the regular season and playoffs.
However, he is certainly not a player’s coach and not everybody wants to play for him.
In an appearance on Off The Field with Aditi, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth made it very clear that he has no desire to ever play for Belichick and the New England Patriots.
“I wouldn’t want to play for coach Belichick.” He added he had “heard some stories” and was content to avoid a New England homecoming under the present circumstances.
This past season, New England missed the playoffs for the second time in three years in 2022. The team has not rebounded since the loss of Tom Brady. Catching lightning in a bottle in the form of a hall of fame QB is not easy to come by.
The 6’5″ pass-catcher finished the year with 63 catches for 732 yards and 2 touchdowns. He just turned 24 and his future is looking incredibly bright under Mike Tomlin.
