Ryan Shazier is a walking inspiration.
Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is already under contract for another year as he continues to recover from the spinal injury he suffered back during the 2017 season.
He would soon have spinal stabilization surgery and be released from discharged from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute in February 2018 to transition into an outpatient therapy program as part of what has been a long rehab process.
Fast forward to April 2019 and his fight to be back to normal reached a new level when he posted a video of himself doing box jumps.
Shazier was taken in the 1st round of the 2014 NFL Draft and played four solid seasons before his catastrophic injury against the Cincinnati Bengals.
