Deshaun Watson is once again a huge talked about name that might get traded this offseason, but one of the teams being mentioned can be taken out of the discussion.
Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette claims the Steelers aren’t interested in making a run at Watson.
“Steelers ARE NOT interested in signing DeShaun Watson, despite what you might be hearing or reading, per team sources,” Dulac wrote.
Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network recently reported that the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Commanders and Carolina Panthers are all considered trade options for Watson.
The Commanders can also be taken off the list after they traded for Carson Wentz. After the Dolphins bowed out, the Panthers and Eagles have also been connected to the Pro Bowl talent.
Watson, 26, is set to appear before a grand jury Friday, which will also feature developments in the quarterback’s civil cases.
