If the Pittsburgh Steelers make the postseason, they’ll likely have to do compete without their franchise star.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it’s believed that star edge rusher T.J. Watt suffered a grade 3 MCL sprain in Sunday’s season-saving 17-10 road win over the Baltimore Ravens. Rapoport added that it’s a “a multi-week injury”, so the Steelers would likely be without Watt for at least the start of the postseason.
The 2021 Defensive Player of the Year finished the day with two sacks, three tackles for loss and eight combined tackles. With the victory, the Steelers finish 10-7 and need either a Buffalo Bills or Jacksonville Jaguars loss to qualify for the postseason.
