This is what you call a terrible idea.
In the second quarter of their game against the Cleveland Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers lined up for a field goal, only to fake it in an attempt to score a touchdown instead.
It failed miserably as kicker Chris Boswell couldn’t find anybody open. On top of that, he got blasted near the sidelines and headed to the locker room soon after.
Terrible play call that got their kicker hurt. Now the Steelers will have to find a way to navigate through the second half of this AFC North battle without their kicker. Chris Boswell has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a concussion.
Both teams entered today’s contest occupying the bottom two spots in the division, as the Browns own a 4-3 record while the Steelers sit at 3-3.
