Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb was taken off the field on Monday night in the second quarter of the game with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was so bad that ESPN did not run a replay of Chubb suffering the knee injury because of how gruesome it appeared.
“I am told that the replay of Nick Chubb getting injured is not to be seen,” play-by-play voice Joe Buck said.
Shortly after Chubb was carted off the field, ESPN’s Lisa Salters reported the star running back was out for the game with a knee injury.
Before anybody saw a replay on social media, the replay would be shown in the stadium and you could hear the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base gasp in horror.
After being evaluated on the field by trainers, Chubb was put onto the cart and taken to the locker room. He needed assistance from trainers to get off the grass and onto the cart.
He was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the game after being carted off.
