The Ravens and Bengals game on a Thursday night a few weeks back was delayed twice for an “administrative stoppage,” which happened to be a drone. It turns out, it happened quite a lot and just wasn’t reported to fans each time.
The Federal Aviation Administration was said to be investigating those drones hovering over M&T Bank Stadium during the Baltimore Ravens’ 34-20 home win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The game had to be stopped twice because of drones. A new report states there were five drones spotted the night of the Bengals-Ravens contest.
Via the Baltimore Banner:
“It actually was the fifth drone we had that night,” Vernon Conaway Jr., vice president of safety and security for the stadium authority, said Tuesday. “We had four other drones. They didn’t fly above the seating bowl. We were able to locate the owners and explain to them that it’s prohibited activity.”
The league may need to start dealing with drones the same way they deal with streakers and that is refusing to show them to the millions of people watching at home so it could possibly help stop others from thinking they could get their drone seen on National TV.
Vernon Conaway Jr. added that drones flying overhead stadiums are a “growing problem” and said drones were intercepted in the Ravens’ previous two games as well.

Moreover, what else will help this practice is the Federal Aviation Administration charging the drone operators with as much as a $30,000 fine.
