The Packers knocking off the Cowboys helped sportsbooks win big.
The Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys so badly Sunday sportsbooks posted odds in the 3rd quarter for Green Bay at the San Francisco 49ers next week.
History was made on Sunday as the Packers became the first No. 7 seed to win an NFL playoff game following their 48-32 wild-card victory over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Many folks knew about that stat and placed a ton of money on the Dallas Cowboys.
It was a complete disaster for bettors who hammered the favorite throughout the week.
“The Cowboys losing was the best result,” Christian Cipollini, Trading Manager at BetMGM Sportsbook, told The Post.
BetMGM stated that 70 percent of spread money was on the Cowboys -7, while 64 percent of the moneyline liability was also on Dallas. They further added that 34 percent of the moneyline bets were on the Cowboys but 64 percent of the money came in.
The Green Bay Packers (+7) dominated the Cowboys 48-32.

There could be another huge day as the Buffalo Bills are -10 at home in Highmark Stadium against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite the weather issues. Sportsbooks might clean up once again depending on how this postponed game plays out.
