The Eagles committed a plethora of mistakes in their Week 10 loss. They turned the ball over four times and committed seven penalties for 75 yards. Just when it looked like Jalen Hurts and the offense would get the ball with about a minute and a half left, Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham committed a roughing the passer penalty after Taylor Heinicke gave himself up on the play.
The new set of downs allowed Washington to melt most of the clock, and they wound up winning by double-digits thanks to the late defensive touchdown.
