Mitchell Trubisky came into the 2019 season as a popular longshot to win the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award this season, mainly based on how he played during his 2019 campaign. But, after his terrible first half of play in 2019, at least one sportsbook is giving their bettors all their money back.
PointsBet Sportsbook took to Twitter and announced that they would refund every bettor that had placed a wager on Trubisky winning the MVP award this season:
Trubisky opened the season at 100-to-1 odds of winning the prize. He’s been so bad that if bettors placed a $100 bet on him right now and he won, they would receive a $50K prive.
PointsBet said that Trubisky was the site’s largest liability going into the season, but now have refunded all bets made on him to collect the NFL’s top individual prize.
