Brittany Mahomes was named the 2024 Rookie for the 60th-anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
As for anything she does, the good news did not go down well with many people, who ensured that their displeasure was aired via social media on different platforms.
The mom of two has been quite the target of hate by fans just because she is married to Patrick Mahomes and she is never quiet about supporting him.
Fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue model Jena Sims, who is married to golfer Brooks Koepka, recently spoke on the hate that she gets.
“I could not be more excited for her,” Sims told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “I actually relate to her on a much smaller level. We’re both married to an athlete and she gets a lot of crap. She gets a lot of hate — unwarranted hate.
“She’s a very polarizing person, which that’s the type of model that SI Swimsuit hires to be a rookie. That’s the point. She’s a needle-mover. She’s a mover and a shaker, she’s a disrupter and I respect it.”
According to Sports Illustrated, the mother of two and owner of the Kansas City Current will be featured alongside a roster of women empowered and inspired women who use their platforms to be seen and heard.

Mahomes, a 28-year-old Texas native, was photographed in Belize.
The full spread has not yet been revealed yet, as it will be featured in the 60th-anniversary issue, which will be published in May.
Britany and Patrick met when they were students at Whitehouse High School in Texas and have been a couple since. She was a junior and he was a sophomore. They married on March 12, 2022.
