Michael Thomas is being linked with a move to the Los Angeles Chargers by the same source who correctly called the Stefon Diggs trade.
Diggs was traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans earlier this month. But Antonio Brown’s CTESPN predicted the exact move in mid-March. CTESPN also broke the Russell Wilson trade from the Denver Broncos to the Pittsburgh Steelers before the major networks last month.
The platform now claims that the aforementioned All-Pro wide receiver is nearing a deal with the Chargers.
“Source: BREAKING NEWS #CTESPN WR Michael Thomas closing in on signing a deal with the Chargers,” CTESPNNetwork tweeted late on Thursday morning.
Thomas remains one of the most talented receivers still on the market. He played just 10 games between 2020 and 2022 but had a relatively better season in 2023, making seven starts from 10 appearances for the New Orleans Saints. He finished the season with 39 catches, 448 yards, and one touchdown.

While he had a decent campaign, the Saints had to release him as he would have received $119 million in guaranteed money due to his contract being restructured several times. The Saints would have probably preferred to keep Thomas, but the aforementioned sum is admittedly too much for an aging receiver who has had difficulty staying on the field.
Michael Thomas Will Not Face Charges For His Alleged Battery
Teams stayed away from Michael Thomas earlier in the year because of legal troubles. The two-time Pro Bowler was charged with simple battery and criminal mischief after allegedly shoving a contractor and throwing a brick into his vehicle.
However, he’s seen the charges dropped after completing a six-month pre-trial diversion program and is free to sign with another team.
According to Brown’s CTESPN, he’s headed to Los Angeles.
