One NFL fan decided to do some research for their fellow voters. They decided they wanted to get some totals on how much funding each party has received from some of the NFL, and honestly, the results confused many fans and even made fun of certain teams.
According to the post, the Donald Trump-led Republican party has received over 87 percent of the political donations from NFL owners. Surprisingly, Denver Broncos’ owner Rob Walton has blown everyone out of the water by donating $20.6 million to the Republicans.

NFL Owners Have Donated Over $25 Million To Political Parties
One NFL fan quickly pointed out a flaw made by the Steelers owner, Art Rooney. After donating $53,000 to the Democratic party, he invited Donald Trump to a game where he was praised and applauded by fans, “Steelers owner giving to the Democratic Party but having Trump in the stadium out of all teams.”

Another fan even pointed out that Patriots owner Robert Kraft has made his support for the Republican party public already, stating, “Robert Kraft went on the breakfast club and said hes been a democrat all his life.”
One fan even pointed out that there were a few owners who played both sides of the ball, specifically pointing out Miami Dolphins owner, Stephen Ross. “Stephen Ross doesn’t know what to do,” joked the fan.
While it may be unclear who some NFL owners are supporting in this election, it’s evident that the Republican party is getting most of the respect from NFL owners. Could this effect the election? Only time will tell.
