New England Patriots fans as well as other fan bases were concerned about coach Bill Belichick’s face after it was noticeably cut up during Sunday’s game.
The Patriots took on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and lost 35-29 in one of the most thrilling games of the year. During that contest, CBS showed a few closeups of Belichick as the Patriots and Cowboys game came to a finish. He was seen with multiple cuts to his nose, lips, and also appeared to be bloodied.
Jim Nantz and Tony Romo made no comment of Belichick’s injuries.
“Did Bill Belichick get in a fight or something? He has a cut on the bridge of his nose and he was wiping blood from his mouth,” one Patriots fan wrote on Twitter.
“What’s going on with Bill Belichick? Cut on his nose and lip and now his mouth is bleeding,” another commented with a series of confused emojis.

A fan joked: “Doesn’t it seem like Bill belichick always has some kind of a cut on his face. I feel like he’s constantly slamming his head into the top of his door when he gets in his car.”
“Is Bill Belichick playing in the game too?” one speculated of the coaches’ injuries.
Belichick was asked about his bleeding face during his radio appearance on Monday, and per usual, he gave absolutely no details.
“Yeah, I’ll be alright,” he said.
The New England Patriots are now 2-4 on the season after Dak Prescott hit CeeDee Lamb for a 35-yard touchdown to give Dallas a walkoff win in Foxborough.
