Ezekiel Elliott enters the 2022 season looking to bounce back in a big way after seeing his numbers drop significantly over the last couple seasons. He’s hoping that a new look will help him regain his old form.
The Dallas Cowboys running back was sporting his new Riddell Axiom helmet, which some think resembles a racing helmet you’d see on a Formula One driver.
Playing on prime time television, there were obviously a lot of people who noticed Zeke’s new headwear. They wasted no time flooding social media with all sorts of jokes about the star running back’s helmet.

Through one half of football, Zeke’s new helmet doesn’t appear to be helping him much, as he’s managed just 32 yards on the ground.
Part of the problem has been his usage, as he was only given six carries. In fact, his yards per carry is an impressive 5.3, so maybe Mike McCarthy should consider handing him the ball more often in the second half.
The Cowboys will need to do something different coming out of the break, as they’ve managed one measly field-goal and find themselves trailing the Bucs by a score of 12-3.
