Shannon Sharpe got roasted by social media users on Monday after appearing on ‘First Take’ looking a tad different.
That “Uncle Shay Shay” went a little heavy on the makeup ahead of his appearance was not lost on fans as they made some very accurate comparisons via X, including Little Richard, Madea, and Juwanna Mann.
While the former ‘Undisputed’ co-host is now known for his takes, his face powder was what grabbed viewers’ attention on the day, and they let him know it.
Sharpe would take to said platform to explain that his makeup was done by someone new, who went a bit overboard as it was her first time. But that did not stop the jokes from coming.

He took them all in stride, though, so good on him.
While Sharpe’s addition has been great for ESPN – they’ve experienced a significant ratings boost since he came on board – it’s been a tough adjustment for the football Hall of Famer. He struggled with Calling Stephen A. Smith his actual name and not “Skip” during his first few days on the show. Now, it’s his makeup.
