Nick Bosa is the 2019 defensive rookie of the year for his solid defensive efforts for the San Francisco 49ers. It almost ended with him and the team winning Super Bowl LIV, but the team fell apart in the 4th quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The season ended with controversy for Bosa, as people started to take notice of him following an Instagram account that mocked Kobe Bryant’s death.
A quick look at the accounts’ follower list revealed the San Francisco defensive star does follow the account.

Even former ESPN reporter Jemele Hill chimed in on it and she is a noted 49ers fan.
Bosa came into the league with controversy because he was an avid supporter of President Donald Trump and called Colin Kaepernick a “clown” for his kneeling during the national anthem. He stated he would clean up his act on social media, and that he did, excpet for the latest hiccu.
“I definitely made some insensitive decisions throughout my life and I’m just excited to be here with a clean slate. I’m sorry if I hurt anybody. I definitely didn’t intend for that to be the case but I think me being here is even better for me as a person because I don’t think there’s any city that you could really be in that would help you grow as much as this one will.”
