Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was surprisingly blunt with some of his answers about the civil cases against him during his introductory press conference.
During the press conference, a reporter addressed the elephant in the room and asked him if he has any regrets about the situation he finds himself in where multiple women are accusing him of wrongdoing during massage sessions.
“I don’t have any regrets,” Watson said, via Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. “The things that came up caught me by surprise, like I said, because I didn’t do the things people are alleging.”
Watson had an interesting answer when asked if he would settle those pending cases against him.
“My intent is to continue to clear my name as much as possible,” Watson said.
