The San Antonio Commanders deserved better than this.
The now defunct team from the expired AAF football league is going viral this week, not because they are making a comeback, but because an NFL team stole their entire flow.
On Wednesday, the Washington franchise unveiled their new nickname of the ‘Commanders’ as well as their new #TakeCommand moto. However, that name and moto was previously used by the San Antonio franchise.
You can actually see above that the take command moto has already been changed on Twitter to show a Washington logo on it.

Before the AAF went under, the team was 5-3 and in first place in the Western Cofnerence.
The Washington Commanders could only hope to be as good as them.
