U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., made waves last week over her politically charged “Tax the Rich” dress she wore at the Met Gala. It sparked another conversation on how wealthy and rich people should be taxed with the insane amount of money that they bring in.
Humphrey took to Twitter on Monday and posed this question:
“Thoughts on my mind this morning: what does “Tax the rich” even mean…Do rich people not get taxed? Or want them taxed more? Cause all the checks I get are tax taxed”
